Terms of Service

Last updated: May 31, 2026

These terms cover your use of the PxP Labs website (pxplabs.com) and the services provided by Pixel by Pixel Labs LLC ("PxP Labs," "we," "us"). By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

Each engagement is defined in a written Statement of Work (SOW) or service agreement that we both sign before any work begins. That agreement sets the specific scope, deliverables, fees, and payment schedule. If anything in a signed SOW conflicts with these terms, the SOW controls.

Fees and Payment

Fees and the payment schedule are set in your signed SOW. Invoices are due as stated there.

Refunds

If at any point in a project you're unhappy, tell us. We'll talk it through and align on the best path forward, including refunding a deposit or funds paid for completed work if that's the right call. There are no rigid contracts and no penalties. The goal is for both of us to feel good about the work at every step.

Billing Disputes

If you have a concern about a specific charge, contact us at build@pxplabs.com before starting a chargeback so we can resolve it directly.

Hosting and Cancellation

If we host your site, hosting runs about $20/month on Vercel and begins when your site goes live, billed separately from the project fee. Any ongoing maintenance is arranged per client and set out in your SOW, so it may or may not apply depending on what you need.

The hosting fee covers normal traffic for a small-business website. If your site sees extraordinary usage, such as a large or viral traffic spike, heavy scraping, or a bot or denial-of-service attack, that can run hosting costs well beyond the standard fee. You're responsible for usage-based charges from traffic to your site above normal levels. We'll always flag it and work with you on how to handle it before passing along any unusual cost.

If you'd prefer your own hosting provider, that works too, as long as we agree on it before the project starts. You're never locked in. If you decide to move to another provider, we'll reasonably assist with migrating your website assets and handoff materials.

Ownership

You own your domain name and the content you provide. On full payment for a project, you own the final deliverables we build for you. We may reference completed work in our portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here.
