Why I started PxP.

I'm Josh Philip, a former product leader and management consultant based in Chicago. I started PxP because I know most local business owners are overextended, running on too little time and too little support while juggling everything that comes with being an owner-operator.

I've spent my career solving business, technical, and operational problems across both consulting and startup environments. As a management consultant I worked on strategy and product delivery for Fortune 500 companies. As a startup product executive, I led product and design across consumer and B2B SaaS platforms, shipping marketplaces, data products, and AI-powered experiences. The throughline is delivering high-quality technology that drives real business results.

I believe the right help at the right moment can dramatically change the trajectory of a business, and I want to bring that same experience to small businesses. I'd love to be a part of seeing the small business economy flourish.

It depends on scope, so reach out and we'll figure it out together. I started PxP to help local businesses, and I'll do my absolute best to find a way to partner with you. Don't let price be the reason you don't reach out. More than likely, we can find a way to work together.

Hosting runs about $20/month on Vercel and starts when your site goes live. It's billed separately from the project fee. If you'd rather use your own hosting provider, that works too, as long as we align on it before the project starts. And you're never locked in: if you ever decide to move providers, I'll reasonably assist with migrating your website assets and handoff materials.

You own your domain and your content. We can host and maintain the site on a monthly plan, or hand everything over if you'd rather run it yourself.

Fast. With your content and materials ready up front, a site can come together in days, and a typical project runs one to two weeks. We move quickly while keeping the quality bar high, and we'll work at a pace that fits you.
